Prep, Pray, and Stay Out of the Way
I recently heard someone say “If there’s a single lesson that life teaches us, it’s that wishing doesn’t make it so”. That being said, I believe that we are approaching some ‘high watch dates,’– meaning that I honestly believe that on or around these dates there’s a high probability that our journey home starts (and everything else that entails). It seems we just have to wait for the Father’s timing – His appointed time. While I believe certain ‘high watch dates’ are rapidly approaching for the Harpazo (resurrection/rapture), I also believe ‘my wishing doesn’t make it so’.
Just for the sake of argument; what if things don’t wrap up the way or the time we expect them to? Let’s just say that we are here until this autumn or next spring. I know, I know, I hate to even think in this fashion – it gives me a headache when I do. If we have been watching the news (not the fake news) we know that ‘prophecy’ is being fulfill all around the world; earthquakes, volcanoes (the Ring of Fire), complete economic turmoil, war and rumors of war, serious political disorder, fires, dust storms, weather manipulation, decreased food production, virus outbreaks, and I could go on and on about the travailing earth but, if we’re awake we know these things.
While we need to prepare our hearts and minds for different possible outcomes, of the end time events, we also need to prepare for our safety and physical needs if the Father delays His coming. If He chooses to delay His coming, for whatever reason, we need to realize it’s His plan, and it’s a perfect plan. However, if there’s a delay, we need to be prepared for what might possibly happen around us. I don’t want anyone to think I’m fear-mongering but I do think one needs to be prepared for the myriad of different circumstances that may be presented.
I heard the phrase “prep, pray, and stay out of the way” on a YouTube video sometime back. It made a lot of sense to me. Thus, I took it to heart. Let’s look at each point (of course from my perspective): Prep means to have a supply of emergency food, water, toilet paper, water filters, first aid kit, a weapon (in my case a gun) and ample ammunition, candles, oil lamps, cooking stove, etc. – I think you get the jest of what I’m saying. Next, pray. I probably don’t need to say much about prayer, except, I think the more prayer the better (of course asking for physical, as well as, spiritual needs, and certainly for protection from those who would do us harm). Ok, on to ‘stay out of the way’: It’s just what it says – we need to be aware of our surroundings, stay away from crowds, or anyplace that could put us in danger.
We want things to wrap up now but if they don’t, remember the adage ‘prep, pray, and stay out of the way’. Proverbs 6:6 – Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.
